Happy Gnu Year

Even though it's January, I'm a wee bit behind on posting our December pictures. Here's my favorite picture from Christmas. When did Matthew start liking turkey legs? Once upon a time, we couldn't get rid of the things. He ate two!

On December 30th, we went to Hermann Park (note to Chris, it's spelled correctly with one "r"). The Houston Zoo is in the park, as well as a public golf course. But you can't see those at night. Only the lights.

The blackness between the tree lights below is water:

These ducks were happy to pose, didn't care when we got close and were probably mad that we didn't bring any bread. Nothing phased them.

There is a railroad track that goes around Hermann Park. Matthew took this picture of the signal.

Matthew was very happy to get back to school. And we were happy to have him there. He really likes his XBox 360. His favorite game is Viva Pinata. This will be all you talk about if you call him on the phone. Be prepared.
