Thanksgiving pics

Just a little tardy with the Thanksgiving pictures. Better late than never, right? We went to Colorado so Matthew could spend some time with great-grandpa. We had a lot of fun. Matthew got to do some new things and make some nice memories. We had to promise him that we'd go back.

We brought a heat wave with us. It was in the 60's the first day we were there. One day we went to feed the ducks. It was in the 50's then, but Matthew wore his scarf anyway.

Here is Kevin using the bread bag to announce to the ducks and geese that we had arrived:

This is the scarf I was talking about earlier. Like a true Houstonian, he thought it was downright freezing outside.

This is the creek that runs through the park. We came back another day and hiked the trail, but I forgot my camera on that day. Too bad, there were 360-degree views. Very nice.

One night, we went to the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in town. Everybody met at the courthouse, sang a couple songs, then they flipped the switch on the tree. Here's Matthew being silly during the songs.
