My mom got promoted to the "Bland Diet" for hospital dinner last night. It sounds worse than it is, and the solid food is the last hurdle she has to cross before getting released. Hopefully she'll get sprung today. Then she'll lay low at my house and see if the oral antibiotics are ok in her system. Then she can fly home.
She will definitely have to have surgery in California, so get your Hallmark cards ready.
