Back to Back to School

Matthew went back to school today. The kids have missed 11 days: one before the hurricane and 10 after. It's worse than it sounds. The kids had just gotten over their summer coma and were starting to get to work. Now that whole process has to begin again.

Still no word on how or if the days will be made up. The decision is on the state level.

Below are pictures taken on the playground. Our power came on about the same time this mess was fixed. Thank you, Georgia Power. They were the ones assigned to the task. The school's principal opened the building so they could use restrooms and gave them chairs and tables to use under the pavilion. A parent made them hot dogs.
